What a HUGE Heart, and great kids!!!
Today was one of those days that I was so proud of my Madi. Her and a friend Kylee had a little boy in there class that had past away due to injuries in a car accident. Madison is very softhearted when it comes to things like this and wants to help in any way she can. Her and Kylee decided that they would have a bake sale and earn some money for his family. So a few hours later the brownies were made and the arrangements were made to sit at ACE in Snowflake and sell them. I gathered some cookies, cups and napkins for them to have and off they went. They sat there until most of it was sold. `Cookies and Brownies .25 Koolaide .75. And any other donations was greatly appreciated. A couple hours later they had earned $35.00 and some change. We went to the families house with a card and the money and the girls told them that this was what they had wanted to do to help the family. I was so proud of these girls for their huge hearts and selfless act of kindness. If we could only take a few pointers from our kids some times the world would be a better place.

What a sweet girl, she takes after her mom. You are right, kids are so soft-hearted and I think I could learn a lot from my kids too. I just heard about this little boy and it breaks my heart. I'm sure it made them happy knowing your sweet girl was thinking of them and wanted to help.
Wow that is really sweet of them. I just love Madi. She is the nicest girl - and super cute :)That is so nice of her and her friend to actually do something to help lift some the burden of that family.
Thats so awesome. Madi is such a sweet girl.
What a sweetheart! I am sad I missed it! Their poster was the best- yum, yum, how could anyone resist that??
